Arianna Downard is running for County Clerk and Recorder of Adams County to ensure that Quincy residents receive the equitable and accurate accounting, recording and representation they demand and deserve.
Service to the community is important to Arianna. She learned this value at an early age through her family: her mother, a special education teacher, her grandmother, a social worker, and her grandfather, an assistant attorney general for the state of Kansas.
Arianna attended Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, and graduated with a Master's degree in Elementary Education. She married her husband Quamar in 2013, and they welcomed their daughter in 2016. When the family moved to Quincy, they were quickly struck by how kind and welcoming people are in this city. Adams County has a tremendous spirit of tradition and pride in its community. Long-time residents love to share the history of this town, and reinforce the impressive and unique qualities of Quincy.
To help serve the community, Arianna realized she wanted to do more, as Adams County Clerk and Recorder. Her work in education has given her the skills she will need to serve and represent Adams County as its next County Clerk. She has experience in collaborating with the community, anticipating and solving problems, and attending to details, that will enhance her ability to provide Adams County with the public service it deserves. Additionally, the dedication and focus required to be an educator will help her transition to the demanding job of County Clerk and Recorder.
If you value fairness and hard work, vote Downard for County Clerk!
